well if you are going for an i-something naming, than it must be simple and strong, therefore:

iNOhiss or iHissNOT

if you want to make it more cool (like a not joke, who doesn't like em? am i right or am i right?):

iHissYouNOT

Each of these names should be treated as a pair.

iFi Murmur (-12 dB)
iFi Murmurer (-24 dB)

iFi Peace (-12 dB)
iFi Quiet (-24 dB)

iFi Quiet Morning (-12 dB)
iFi Silent Night (-24 dB)

How about some opposites as well?

iFi Ruckus (-12 dB)
iFi Cacophony (-24 dB)

If anybody has already come up with any of these, I apologize.

Silent-fi series of attenuators.  Available in 12 and 24db models. Silence the hiss and the turn up the fidelity.

liking this one as well.

..or SilentBridge12 / SilentBridge24
SilentHook12 / SilentHook24

HooverPlug/HooverPort (it sucks out the hiss)
HuvPlug/HuvPort (in case hoover is trademarked)

Reveal12 / Reveal24

Revel12 / Revel24 (which is a cute wordplay how revel means 'to enjoy oneself in lively and noisy way' while it actually works by removing the hiss but at the same time using iem enables you to enjoy oneself in noisy environment)

Adding a switch (as in the iCAN improvement) would have been a better idea, would not have been an additional cost, and would require no name.

Patently, ifi is a listening company. Perhaps take this on board for the next edition?
