I notice the same thing in my configuration WiFi sounds more transparent and lively. Greetings Werryslow
I was always a connected-by-wire guy (more reliable) but I have to say adding the LAN iSilencer to my Zen was the best improvement I made.

Yes, I know I work for iFi but this product works as many have noted!

Cheers!!

Thanks! and we hear you!

As far as I know, the major thing that needs to be done is the changeover from MQA to FLAC or Tidal Max as it is now. I am told this is in the works, but does rely on Tidal as well as us in some ways, some manufacturers have gotten this some have not.

Hopefully, these things are coming shortly.

Cheers!!

I'm using Tidal Connect and a button comes up on the remote app "flac/high" and I can toggle it. Or is it not doing anything? Does it need firmware update to work?

I would have to check mine later today, what color LED are you seeing on the Zen Stream LED, if it's Green or Blue I believe Tidal is still feeding you the MQA version.

Cheers!!

Two qustions:

1. According to your experience, will the iFi ZS usb output to Hugo2 (or any other quality DAC), benefit from either the AudioQuest Jitterbug or the iFi usb Silencer?

2. What about the benefit provided by having the iFi ethernet (network) silencer (my ZS connected to a TP-link mesh router)?

Thanks

My experience with the LAN iSilencer was very good for its price, to me the detail, and background was improved. Comparitively I likened it to the Optibox which is part of the higher-priced NEO Stream package. I found it to be very beneficial with the Zen.

As for the others, we will have to see other folks' experience I think the USB is very good on the Zen to begin with, just my opinion.

As always purchase these things from a reputable retailer with a good no questions asked return policy, just in case they aren't what you had hoped for.

Cheers!!
