I may have missed it but what is your current firmware version? Proper is 2.32.9

Please keep me updated on your ticket and we will move from there.

Cheers!!
Thanks for your response @iFi audio

I had to reset my unit, I’m assuming that takes off any firmware updates? This is what it says. But when I try checking for updates, it doesn’t move.

Is there any other way to manually download and installed the firmware?

No matter how many times I try to connect it, it keeps coming back to this. Basically, no notification light on the right.

Everytike it switches back to my home wifi, from the IFi Streamer WiFi, it loses connection and comes back to this (2nd image). It also plays music sometimes while connected to IFi wifi.

I sent an email to IFi Support email address, a ticket is yet to be opened.

Let me know if I am missing something.

It looks to me as if you may need to do a system reset using the USB C port on the back. This solution can be provided through the support ticket and you can tell them I think it may be the best option.

If you would like to try something on your own at home, I recommend following the first post in this thread (exactly) and seeing if that might get you going instead.

I did refer the first post in thread, but I am not able to get to that point where I can go through the steps. It keeps dropping off from ifi Local.

Could you tell me more about system reset using USB C Port? Any resources or link/steps that I can refer to. Also, is there a manual way to update firmware on the unit?

Thanks for working with me on this.

It is basically a way to completely factory reset the unit and then install the current firmware. At this point, Support will have to give that to you as I have no way to send it to you and it is very large. You will need a Windows PC and it only takes 5 -10 minutes, but completely restores the unit.

Please let us know how you make out.

Cheers!!

I understand. Thanks for the clarification.

I will wait to hear from support, someone is yet to pick up my email.

I hope support@ifi-audio.com is the correct email ID to raise issues.

Is there anyway I can set for only one bitrate - I want all audio to be upsampled/downsampled to 96khz irrespective of source rate (local or qobuz). I have ssh access but not sure if I can config this somehow

Zen Stream cannot do that.
You ll need specific 3rd party software like HQPlayer to achieve that goal and use Zen Stream as NAA endpoint.

Volumio apparently has the ability, just checking if there’s a way to turn it on via command line somehow

Interesting, so I see there's a technical option in theory but can imagine Ifi is restricted to use that old Volumio version for license reasons and we need to live with what's inside

I think even the older versions might have the ability to resample

Do the setup on a LAN cable. I also had some difficulty on WiFi at start. It will let you update the firmware and after that the WiFi is working ok.
Thank you! I will try that as well.

Hi @iFi audio Sorry to bother you again. But my email sent on Sunday hasn’t been picked up by support yet, is there anyway you can help? Thanks again!
