Unfortunately UAPP disconnecting is a side effect from the iFi OTG adapter not having a secure connection to the xDSD. I could really wiggle it back and forth, causing disconnects. Unfortunately I already returned it to Amazon.de but I made a small video that demonstrates how loose the iFi OTG adapter was. I will share it with iFi via Onedrive

I have an otg cable that also has a very loose connection. Wrapped tape around it to make it thicker and it is now very secure.

Loving my new xDSD. Using it with my home stereo and it sounds really nice and smooth and natural.

Anyone try it with and LPS? Does that improve the sound?

OK, so here goes: our OTG cables are less bulky in comparison to those white ones, there's some wiggle room in there. But this shouldn't affect connection. Can you drop us a PM about this?

My 2 cents. From my experience yes, ifi otg cables due to their smaller size are somewhat loose. More thicker design would help.

BTW, has anybody tried the xDSD as a DAC? Does it keep its tonality with an external amp?
Wondering if the sound signature of the xDSD is the pure internal amp section impact or not.

Use it in line out mode in my car all the time. Love it being fed into my Pioneer AV unit, to my Alpine amps. Beautiful tonality

If you bypass the amp, then it has no impact on DAC's performance.

Highly likely 2.5 to 3.5 adapter. But please do tell us what you want to do exactly; chich IEMs/headphones you want to plug where?
