So has anyone actually tried the Chord TT2 with the iESL? And is it confirmed then that balanced out from it to the iESL provides more power and volume than the HDMI connection to the iCAN?
Yes more and higher volume then HDMI with iCan

The cayin is really sweet !
I tried the Iesl with Kingsound Ks-h4 another time on the Cayin amp and dac. I never heard anything like this before. I am very happy!!

I tried the setup with a Dyson Audio adapter cable (screenshot below)! It is a much better setup compared to the iCan pro with hdmi cable!!
Now I do not need to detach the speaker cables anymore from the speakers if I want to listen to music with the Iesl :)
The Rme adi 2 pro is a wonderful device!!
So happy !!

Are you saying you used this adapter to connect the RME ADI2 to your iESL, and it worked? Better than iCAN to iESL?

I have sold the iCan pro. I meant that you need to put the iCan pro on higher DB (power mode) while connected with Iesl via HDMI.

Question for IFi.
Is it possible to use an amp with neutrik speakOn outputs to 4 pin balanced? Perhaps with these adapters. The back of the amp has speakOn speaker out.

Now I wonder. Can I connect ADI2 to iESL?
You can but the XLR outputs on the back of the ADI 2 (and the ADI2 pro) do not give enough power to drive the Iesl. That's what I have read somewhere on Headfi

@talan7

The 4 Pin-XLR input from the iESL is made for regular headphone amps to feed the iESL from the 4 Pin-XLR headphone output.

Why do you not want to use the regular speaker output from you power amp and use the speaker input form iESL? This kind of input are made for this kind of connection.

The speakOn outs are speaker outs. SpeakOn was developed by Neutrik. I was wondering if going from speakOn out to iESL balanced in would work better than using speaker out to speaker in, or even if it can be done.

Small update, RME ADI-2 Pro FS R Black Edition > XLR > Audiophonics MPA-S250NC power amplifier (2x250 wpc) > speaker cable > iFi Audio Pro iESL

Now I'm finished guys, the Pro iESL is a perfect energizer and scales so much with a beefy power amplifier.
