You're right, if I set the switch on the back to "Hifi Fixed" then I bypass the internal amp. And no clicking when I turn it on in amp mode. I just thought, I could use it in pre-amp mode as well (Hifi Variable) without any difference. So all good...Thanks

Hum, I have never took the chance to listen to Sophie ZELMANI, as in my mind, I only remember "always you", which was for me an ok song, but just that.
So I have been listening to the album the first 25 years, and especially the song Going Home. Never felt such a presence in my head, the iDSD does wonder there, with the TH900, it's stunning, trully.

I hear you! I know that I shouldn't say this out loud as a manufacturer's rep, but Pro iDSD and TH900 (...and MK2) are a superb match. I adore these cans, especially when I'm in the mood for heavy music :)

Thanks for the tip regarding Sophie - she sounds very nice with other HPs too :dt880smile:

Hi ifi, can you please advise the difference between the ifi zen one signature vs the ifi zen dac signature v2? Which one is supposed to be the newer or better as a standalone dac?

Thanks

Hi there,

They're two different devices; one is wired, while the other features a wireless input. The choice between them should thus be based primarily on your needs in this regard. Hope this helps, thanks!

Hi everyone.
I haven't had the chance to listen to my TH900 lately, too much diablo IV at night:)
But tonight, I'm listening to a few songs, some I knew, some I totally am discovering.

You HAVE to listen to Christine and the queens - Paradis perdus with the idsd pro, and a good enough, the record is phenomenal.
Next I took on a Bruce Springsteen's album I never listened, the ghost of tom Joad, and you can feel the music there. I mean, I know it's folk, the lyrics are nothing but amazing (they do tell a story), but the overall presence of the singer, the instruments... Really a wonderfull music time to listen to my old th900MK2:)

Even if I don't understand the lyrics: I love Christine and the Queens  (also listening on pro iDSD)

Edit: Bet you also like Zaz?

cough cough, despite beeing french, even I do not understand the lyrics sometimes lol
I know Zaz, but it's not my cup of tea, I'm a metahead mostly. But french artist I love, Noir Desir (Tostaky is an impressive album, or the song "Le Vent l'emportera" (that can be translate into "the wind will carry it away", an amazing ballad), C2C (le banquet), Gojira (they sings in english but are from Lyon), Shaka Ponk... And of course, olds songs from Renaud. You should check out "morgane de toi", "Mistral gagnant", they are very carefully crafted, poetic songs with strong lyrics.
Morgane de toi, for example, is a french slang to say "i'm mad about you", and in this song, it's about a father to daughter relationship. They are both that kind of songs that you never forget:)

Anyway I could go on forever, despite a metalhead, I love music first and foremost ^^
