iFi audio GO pod + IEMs = brilliant wireless sound on the GO!

Sorry, Its confusing because that setting is a bit backwards, I keep getting turned around on it. iFi wants you to leave absolute voume on which means turning off the "disable absolute volume" setting" in developer options. @Nick24JJ from the screenshot yours is set correctly. @ecouteurifi iFi recommends switching the developer option off. In your screenshot you have it on, Im not if you tried it off yet.
Sorry, I misunderstood “don’t disable absolute volume “ as enable. Regardless, I also have a brain fart as it never occurs to me to try the other way around. 😂
Thanks for your help and clarifying. Problem solved, I can now enjoy the pods. 🥳

I can see how this could be confusing, my first thought would be we probably wouldn't be even mentioning anything in developer options unless we clearly stated that.

As I said previously "Developers mode" to us folk is a common thing, but most folks wouldn't even know how to do that. I had to look it up when I first learned of it.

Sorry for any confusing info.

Cheers!!

I get this is a workaround, but there are benefits (to Android users) to have the finer grained control that typically comes with being able to adjust both source and receiver independently. @iFi audio is the intention to fix this, or to leave the situation as is?

Is it possible to get a replacement case\charger? Looks like the pins for the right side no longer protrudes up and sometimes don't charge the ear piece.

What I found is since I updated the firmware (why do I do it, why?), I'm having issues with my Go Pods. I'll be listening and they all the sudden stop / pause. I usually have to restart from my tablet and can't 'unpause' them from the right pod. Also, sometimes my left ear goes out. I have to pause them. Give it a few seconds and then unpause and it's synced back up.

It's a bummer when a product gets worse with an update. They were pretty rock solid.

OnePlus pad, Roon, ... is my connection path.

I am sorry you are having issues, when this happens it is important to report it by logging a ticket with our support team, this way the issue is noted directly with details.

Folks here may have an answer for you, but if the issue goes through support it will get noted and possibly fixed for you by means of a reset. We certainly don't want anyone to have non-functioning pods because of an update.

Please report it through this link...

https://support.ifi-audio.com/

Again sorry for any issue, hopefully we can get it corrected quickly for you.

Cheers!!

Having fun today rearranging my computer desktop! I'm so lad the iFi DSD Neo 2 allows for vertical orientation! Ha, if I keep on working my desktop it will probably have more gauges and toggle switches than a B-52 bomber!

I wonder if my Schiit Asgard 3 could do the same, or would there be heat/cooling issues?
