I was waiting to hear from a few more folks on how this works for them, and the particular phone they use.
For the most part, I use my Pods mostly with an iPhone 11 and do not experience this issue. If it is indeed a bug, or acting in the extreme volume parameters I would make an inquiry of our support folks, and let them know the Model of the Phone, Android version, and other details relevant to your situation.
I could be wrong but I have not heard a seen a ton of posts on this direct issue, so it would be best to report it.
