As suggested before I would most certainly raise a ticket with support and they can advise you from there.

https://support.ifi-audio.com/

As @Nick24JJ said certain situations can cause dropout or unresponsiveness, even other devices, but best to point out the issue now in case you do need something repaired.

Cheers!!
Thanks have logged a ticket and they have asked me to send the device in so they can take a look to see what the underlying issue is

Well after an overnight charge (the red lights did not stay on after initially placing them back in the case) I tried again to charge them. No Joy. This morning I tried turning the third party silicone earbuds skyward and got two constant red light. So maybe I finally got it. Note an hour later opening the case no red LED lights, or any LED color. I'll give them a few more hours and then check the charged status. One last try will be to remove the Sennheiser IE 600 and try once more.

I will also try the contact cleaning.

Thanks all for the help!

UPDATE: One last try here. The re-orientation of the third party SpinFit silicon earbuds did not fix the problem. As a last resort I've pulled the IE600's from the over the ear connection wires to the iFi Go Pod. I'm giving them a little over two hours and I will check them again. A side by side comparison of the stock IE 600 ear pads/buds show that the SpinFits are taller. As I've reported earlier I tried re-orientation of them while charging with no success.

If pulling the IE 600 IEMs off the over ear wire does not solve the charging problem I will attempt to send the kit back to the retail seller for a replacement or a refund. I may have to live with wired IE 600s. :triportsad: I can't be constantly pulling the IE 600 on and off just to charge them.

UPDATE #2: I'm embarrassed to say that Mathew at Bloom Audio may have figured out the basis of my failing to charge issue. He pointed out that the back of the iFi Go Pods have a tape/film over the contacts. I looked and looked, and finally realized there was indeed a mostly translucent. I pulled of the blue tinted film off and my iFi Go Pods now reliably light up red while in the charging case.

So I'm going to let these charge until later this evening, and see if they do go to 100% charge. Note I check the online Quick Start and full manuals. I didn't see anything about the existence of this tape. Maybe I need new reading glasses. Thanks all who have jumped into help. If the issue is fixed I will certainly stop posting on this subject. My holiday gift to you all!
I am looking forward to your impressions on sound quality and comfort after 5 days of use!
@KiD~21 , same for you, please :)

I do t know if you all caught my edit of an earlier post. The issue was on me. I failed to see and remove the translucent bluish tape on the contact points  They charge fine now that I removed the somewhat invisible tape.

Hey guys,

So i downloaded the new software and updated, but then after updating, music played normally for a minute or two, and then my left ear bud started flashing green and red. The manual means it is a factory reset, but I can't get it to go into pairing mode, etc. What do I do to make it work again?

Are you on Android? If so, what type of device are you using as your source?

Not sure if this would help but try (1) unpair the Go Pods from anything they are paired to, and (2) put them into pairing mode by touching the touch area of both pods for >2s and then pair from your phone / device… step two may not be necessary since they probably go into pairing mode if there isn’t anything to pair to, but maybe it is needed…

Definitely tried that multiple times. No dice.

@iFi audio any recs here, or are these a paper weight now?

First things first please put in a support ticket here...

https://support.ifi-audio.com/

Do it as soon as you can with the holiday they will be short-staffed. In the meantime, I will see if I can find out a possible reset based on what you posted.

The only other thing I can think of is trying to redo the update, wish I had a quicker answer but it sounds like something didn't go right with the firmware update, my apologies for the trouble you are having.

Cheers!!
