iFi Audio GO Bar Kensei... The Ultimate GO Bar Has Arrived!

Has anyone else done a/b testing with K2HD on lower bit-rate content like YouTube? The idea of an upscaler is really intriguing but I didn’t think we’d get an effective one until someone implemented it with a deep learning model.

I do not think that youtube would be a good source. Maybe other steaming services like Spotify?

Good to hear that, I had tried Amazon for a while a couple of times over the time they went to lossless, but Equipment incompatibility always stopped me from keeping them.

Cheers!!

I do not like amazon. I am not sure the keep tne hd rates constant and they are not throttling in purpose.

When they started they were throttling in purpose and that was shown on the app. Then i reported that and after many years when i tried again this march they changed the app and i cannnot figure out if they throttling or not.

I like apple music and now i am trying tidal again.

Personally, I have my own library in Apple Music but also have a Tidal subscription.
I would suggest sticking to Tidal. They started moving from MQA to FLAC I think.

Indeed they have, although the transition is not complete, they are working on it, and with the price drop it is a more appealing option.

Cheers!!

I used to use tidal in the past and was my favourite. But then i transitioned to apple music for other reasons and when apple was full hd i was wow...

Now all my library is in apple music i need to compare again the quality between the two and decide where i want to stay. The tidal price drop and the transition to flac is a very big plus. Also the integration with usb audio player pro.

I am pleased by this development. It's great that something roughly on the level of the GOld Bar will be available to the Average Joe Audiophile, and more optional modes are always welcome!! Of course, I'd be even more pleased if iFi cranked out some insane, limited edition Ultra Doomsday Dongle even better than the GOld Bar... just throwin' that out there...
