I haven't seen any straight out mmcx conns with lock system for Etys iems. My are typical L-shape.

So, I ordered an "X" cable like yours, but either by error or luck, they built me an "Exo" cable instead. Looks like they also found a source of ety style MMCX connectors that don't require heatshrink. Really nice and low microphonics. Now I have to decide whether it will drive my ER2XR or ER4XR full time... thanks for the rec!

Always fun seeing Etymotic ER4SR in semi-normie spaces. 95% of the comments are just people mad that It can handle bass heavy non-neutral sound through EQ, By just hammering on with "But It single BA". But If given data showing It being <0.3% at 1KHz/104db + doing 20Hz ~ 19KHz, They freak out.

My ER4P sounds amazing with EQ via Qudelix 5K. I have it tuned towards Oratory1990's target. Makes me wonder why i have the ER4XR...

I noticed this with the ER4SR I have, I can EQ into a 4XR or more fun sound.

You welcome... Ive got Exo GPC for my Andros, but it looks like I have older specs, more thicker for sure. I choose X series for comfort only. Glad You like it.

3.5db 100Hz Low shelf with Q 0.4, Matches 4XR by 100%. Did this on Crin's EQ tool. Doing 4db 6KHz High shelf with Q 0.7 gives a semi-ER4B sound as 10KHz Is 3.5db. Doing -2db at 1.6KHz with Q 1.9, Reduces bloat there. 1.5db 850Hz with Q 2.5, Fixes a slight dip there that really opens up the vocal area.

Just wanted to say thanks, again @Blackwoof - tried these out today, and the XR bass boost applied to my SRs is welcome, when I’m out and about, navigating the low rumble of traffic.

Just got the Shure Aonic 4, It sounds almost like a hybrid version of a ER3XR. Have no idea If It will be my daily driver or not since, I'm not used to side loading IEM's.

You could try the right angle mmcx adapters for Etymotic made by okcsc. I use them with cables.

Hello everyone, I am down to my last pair of ER38-14F Black foam eartips

the Etymotic Amazon store doesn't list these, the Etymotic website says 'currently unavailable', and I can't seem to find them in 3rd party stores either... Are they out of production?
