I don't know about your music taste, but I would think about the beatles box set. I say that because I was in the same situation in July (had extra bday money) and thats what I bought, and I am very happy with it.

On the other hand, it might be fun to use the money to take a trip into the DIY world for your Starving student. Even with the cost of soldering iron and the such, the project probably wouldn't touch $150 and DIY is a lot of fun and not at all as daunting as may seem.

A cheap soldering iron and DMM, and the parts for a CK2III. I think you could pull it off, especially if you recycled a case from a junk store or flea market. Your HD-650 would thank you.

If you are in college, invest the $200 into buying some ganja and then sell them to your friends so some profit.
Then with the proceeds invest into more ganja and then repeat the process.

Do this a few times then you can either get out of industry and get much better gears or stick there and build your own ganja empire from scratch.

Everyone needs ganja so this is a fool-proof plan.
