So if my musical preference is for electronic music and rock, what would be the proper flagship for me?

 
I would recommend LCD-2, LCD-3, HE-500 and HE-6. I've had everything so far except the HE-6. All of them are exception al electronic music and rock. Bass, transparency and lack of grain is amazing on all.

HE-6 and HE-500 are the best electronic music headphones i've heard, the Audeze as well, though lack that bit of magic sometimes, they do have the bass though.
 
Audeze have been the best rock headphones i've used besides Beyerdynamic T1 and Grado RS1i (not as resolving as audeze/t1/hifiman)
