I could slim down, but I'd still need the K-1000, HP-1000 and the RS-1. And the K-501. Or maybe the DT880. I don't know.

I suppose it's a good thing I got into Head-Fi before marriage.

I don't think I have owned enough different brands yet or heard enough of the other brands to make a wide decision on it yet.

On the other hand, if I had to simply choose based on what I have heard so far personally: Senn HD650s

I still want to hear the AKG K701s and some Grado RS-1s. Both of these are on my "to buy list" in the next several months.

Of my collection, I would say the K701 is the best all arounder. I would probably take them. But I would greatly miss my HD650s

and RS1s

It would be a tough choice, but I would have to say the HD580. Not because its my favorite can, but because its my best all-arounder.
