AFAIK the vibez is a hdd player. and it is supposed to be very good. It uses the hardware that sigmatel bought from rio.

the vibez is indeed a microHDD player.

as far as flash players go, none have more than 8gb of memory built in. however, some are expandable to 10gb or more. the two that come to mind are the Cowon D2 and the Sandisk Sansa e280. both have slots that allow for SDHC and microSD expansion, respectively.

Cowon D2 can have 4gb internal plus an 8gb SDHC = 12gb


Sansa can have 8gb of internal plus a 2gb microSD = 10gb

however, we might see some higher capacity flash players in the upcoming months as the holiday season approaches.
