If I liked Senn HD650's, will I like HD600's?

I love my HD600 and am dying to hear a HD 650 to decide for myself which I prefer.

If I was going to have 2 sets of phones it would be the HD 650 and RS1.

Depending on my mood and what I'm listening too determines which ones get plugged in.

It seems like a lot of folks are of the opinion that the perfect pair would be the HD 650 and 701, I find them a little to similar in style and delivery.

As I mentioned in a post a couple of weeks ago: the 701s sound like you're listening to a really good recording, where the 650s sound like you're listening to a really good performance. At least thats the perception when they go through my ears.....

I like both, but I've never actually been able to compare them side by side. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do that someday.

I'm in the 600 camp. I just find them to be much better in terms of overall balance, which is perfect for the type of music that I listen to most.

Having said that, I have never disliked the 650's when I've had a chance to listen to them. I could certainly live with either.

BTW, those are 600's that I'm wearing in my avatar.

at the meet I was comparing my HD580 ( HD600 grills, HD650 cable ) to HD650. I found the HD650 to be smoother and more laid back in this case I preferred my HD580 others may prefer the HD650. I think you really need to give it a listen yourself.
