I did a search and could not find anything that referred to the soundtage of IEMs. I know this may be a contradiction - many threads here refer to the "in your head" sound of IEMs, but when I listen to my marshmellows I feel like I can loose myself in the depth of music.
Anyway, I am looking for an IEM < $200 that has the following attributes : exceptional Isolation, immerssive soundstage, fairly neutral (must have bass but not muddy or bloated. An IEM with a sound sig similar to the KSC75 would be great, but since I'll spend up to $200, it should be better in every way.
Eventually this IEM would be paired with an iPod or other portable source that has line out, and a decent amp (whole setup under $1000). The main focus of this setup should be silence. I listen to a lot of ambient, and a "black backround" is paramount.
