I got my Hifiman 601 a few days ago and I am very glad for it. I Like the sound it gives with Grado SR 80.

Now I am searching for IEM that has that Airy open sound. i think that my Westone UM3X sounds boring compared whith Grado. My old Shure SLC2 sounds much better.

Can you help me with advice?

Cunning Blower: Thanks, Sure 535 are one of them that I have in mind. Unfurtenetly I havent got the possibility to listen to them and its a lot of money to invest. How should you describe the sound compered to Grado?

Weng448: Its hard for me to express what I mean in English. Maby less engaging is a better description. Of course its a persenal thing what we like. But for me the sound of Grado 80 ande Shure SLC2 are more fun to listen to. Westone UM3X is a very nice IEMs.

The close match to Grado fullsize cans in IEMs are Grado GR10, EX1000, JVC FX700 and all are highely recommended.

Grado GR10.  That's as close as you will get.

Steer clear of SE535.  It is a little too controlled sounding and not very dynamic for a triple driver.
