I am reaaaaally digging the shozy 1.1 for my metal. A step up from the ybf finally!
But i want more! What is the next step up.. up to 300 euro more or less..
Mangird does not cut it, lz a7... i am not convinced this has the same punch as the shozy 1.1...
Any recs?
Thanks!

The Periodic Be is a FANTASTIC item, one of my all-time faves. Someone on here raved about the Moondrop Blessing2 as well.

I also am having a weirdly good time with the iBasso IT03. It has a unique presentation that feels a lot more "separated" than nearly any IEM I've used. I'm sure the IT04 would be even more so.

So far, the LZ A7 and the UM MEST are the best IEMs that I have heard for metal. I haven’t heard the Fearless S8 yet. The LZ A7 is much more versatile than the MEST though. The bass is very fast, punchy, and detailed.

@Vruksha so how is lz a7 with extreme genres? I couldn't get them at 11.11, now black friday has come.
It is amazingly good with the fastest, most complex music.

The Be does have an absolutely baffling flaw, though, and that's the fixed cable. I cannot figure out why they did that.

Pulled the trigger again! Fingers crossed this time.
I’m almost 100% certain that you will love the LZ A7! So many tunings to choose from, surely you will find one that closely matches your ideal sound.

Hmm do you have the 1.1? Are you shure the a7 can deliver a good low end punch like the berry drivers of ybf and 1.1? I really need a good present kickdrum in my metal...
Anyone here had the ikko oh10? Heard it was decent..

hey what tips are you using there? Still fiddling around and while the shallow silicones sound the best they don't have a great seal for me.

I like Final Audio Type E tips. They always grip the nozzle well, and seal really well.
