Hi guys,

I'm looking to purchase an IEM and I was doing a lot of research and I was curious what IEM filters are? Are the IEM filters are the tiny sticky dots that came with my RE0's? I figured they were supposed to go on top of the "nozzle
of my IEM and I put them but I never replaced them, I tried once but it was like taped on and it didn't come off. What are filters? Can anyone clarify?

You're correct. They are the mesh things on top of the nozzle. I would just leave it alone if there's nothing wrong with them, the extras are for in case the original ones fall off.

Yeah, those are the RE0 filters, some come with plastic/foam filters that you need tools to change like on the Ety ER6..

Are they really common in most IEM's? I'm looking for some iems somewhere from 20-50$, would they have filters or are they something typically limited to higher end iems? Thanks so much for the help!
