Are Shure SE530s really that bad??? Was strongly considering getting a pair very soon, but all this hating....wth? I mean, they can't be that much worse than UM3X/UE10/IE8 right?

Alien Ears 10
Altec Lansing 9 HURT. UHP336 was horrid, and I just cannot get over that. Boomy and weighted to the lower end, it was just bad
AKG 9
Apple 7
Audio-Technica 10
Beyerdynamic 10
Crossroads 10
Creative 10
Denon 11
Etymotic 12 clarity rules. I had the AL as a second to my hf5, which may be part of the reason that found it so boomy and muddy.

Ultimate Ears 8
Westone 15 [healed by the guy above]
Yuin 10

To the guy above me, you quoted the first post, not the last one. Bose is gone, so quote the last post and post a hurt. I put your heal into my post for your convenience, and so that if you do not see this at least 1/2 of your opinion was counted

For someone who claims to never have owned any IEM's or full-sized headphone, only owns a laptop as a source, and claims to want to buy the JH13's, how VERY odd you voted for Shure based on their great microphones and NOT their IEM's. I guess you simply had a serious urge to come to the rescue. I insist you are indeed Uniqu3

Not sure that's a good idea as putting a heal without a hurt creates an imbalance of points (which should remain constant over time), which makes it harder to weed out mistakes.

There was actually a point missing before I think (a quick and dirty add-up yielded a number ending in 9)

Yes, if someone can hunt down that missing point that would be nice ^^. I was just saying that tacking one on elsewhere isnt necessarily a legit way of evening the total, but if everyone else is ok with it perhaps we could all just be a bit more careful from now on. There's only like 3 rules... how hard can they be to follow?

Music 4321, I see that you negatively voted for the Shure SE530 twice. It must deeply upset you to see Shure become positively voted. Also when I positively voted for JH Audio and negatively voted for BOSE I didn't get any crap from you there. It's a game dude lighten up. I never heard their IEM's but I used their MICS plenty of times and they are very very durable. This game is clearly the most unaccurate way of seeing which company deserves to stay or not because we have companies like Skullcandy and Apple ahead of reputable companies like Shure. If Shure falls off the list then so be it. It may just be their IEM's are bad, I don't know. For $500 those Shure SE530's better be good.

FYI apple IEMs may be the best earphones in their price range. And those companies won't stay on the list forever. It's just that not enough people own Skullcandy products, and since voting for stuff you don't own makes people jump down your throat, Skullcandy is staying ahead.

Ok, I'll remove myself from the game until I own a product which will be the JH13 Pro soon. Just got to create a appointment with an audiologist.

Hey Dud3, I'm not as deeply upset as you might like to think about Shure surviving or not. However, your posts on the JH13 thread & your 2 posts here with your 4 different votes after claiming you've never owned any IEM's or full-sized headphones is just a little strange. But I already told you I'm convinced you are Uniqu3, and I'm sure others have noticed too.

BTW, your timing to come to the rescue was impeccable. You are 100% Uniqu3
