Hi there. In what ways would you say the ie8 is better than the monster pro copper. And what ways is the copper pro better than the ie8.

Is the midrange on the copper just as smooth as the ie8 with equal or better detail and forwardness?

Is the bass just as strong too?

I have the ie8 and think they are awesome. The midrange is very smooth.
I listen to R&B, pop, some Hip Hop, some techno, and music with good vocals.

The ie8 has a larger soundstage and the bass covers a wider frequency range in my opinon.

The coppers bass is better quality and just as strong as the ie8 and without the mid bass hump which colours the vocals on the ie8.
The coppers midrange is more natural sounding and just as detailed.

The ie8 has a very thick warm sound where as the coppers are cooler and more natural sounding.
