Basically, I have a pair of Denon C751's and wear them over my ears. However I don't want the cable to wear away when it rubs against the top of my ear. So, finally getting to my point does anyone know if you can buy spare ear hooks like the ones on IE8's?

Are these Sennheiser ear hooks hard or soft & flexible?

I have some ear guides i bought from Phonak & they are soft & flexible silicone & they work great on my CK7s.

Is it just me or I've hardly seen pictures of IE8's from the members here with the ear guides on? Is it that uncomfortable?

It's unnecessary in most situations, but when I need to be really physically active I do put them on

I dunno if i'm using it right, but they don't seem to stay in one place, and they fall all over my ears.......in frustration i removed them.
Seems to defeat their purpose

The Phonak Audeo PFE ear guides seem like a more flexible and comfortable solution (I'm not sure whether it's cheaper or not) when looking for ear guides.

They are uncomfortable very rigid. I use the ones that come with Audeo PFE's. They work great very comffy.
