iCAN micro SE review:
 
The SE version has a number of key changes which include upgraded components and increased power both of which are welcome, but the biggest upgrade is to the 3D holographic sound which has been significantly refined and now is quite startling in its portrayal of sound stage width and imaging.
 
Maybe it should be relabelled as the "Force" input as it lets you reach out and touch the presence..........

The 3D Holographic was already good at 'outside the head' but now it is 'in front of your head.'
 
We have some iFi customers who do the external beta-testing with us and we know what gear they use and we know their ears. They tell us they have never heard the 3D like what it does on the iCAN se (sorry - we cant name them!) as others do crossfeed and other things and the iCAN se is pretty majorly good at this. We would also say the harmonic/tonality are major step up over anything out there.
 
This is the little brother of the Pro iCAN.
