Well we basically need a location... Any idea? Are we talking free event or participation from attendees? Also how long? One entire day or just an afternoon? Did anyone went to the previous meetings?

I can bring what I have but it won't be much and my laptop is holding by a thread so it wouldn't come with me, don't know if anyone would be up to bring a DAC/Laptop?

I can bring laptop (MacBook Pro with Audirvana) and my DAC. But yes we need to find a place.

I am new to Montreal, I am a PhD student at McGill. So I can have a look at the Thomson House (Postgraduate student house)... But otherwise I don't have much idea.

Depends how many we are as well...I mean if were under 8 person (that would make me sad) I've got a Poker room in my Apartment building that I can rent...for free. I'm 15 minutes from Montreal on the South Shore (Brossard), but that might be an issue for people using Public Transportation. Of course this would probably be last resort.
 
Also I'm just putting it out there in case some people would shy away because of their English speaking skills. Je parle Français donc ne soyez pas gêner.
I'm a member since '05 and I just figured out we have meets in Mtl hehe I'm pretty sure there weren't any in '05 though

I personally use public transport... I will try to talk to an Audio shop in St Denis and see if they want to sponsor or offer a room from their shop...
We could also try to find out how many people would be coming from Head-fi. I know I would come! (Just copy the list and add your name)
