Using an inexpensive balanced cable from Amazon really picks them up a notch with the DX200. Really great enjoyable headphone right out of the box, but even better balanced. I bought the 8 strand balanced cable... Sounds great.

Thanks for your reply, I have an axon 7 phone which is really good for audio. I loved the bass of the black filters, it was imho really good for me, but the mids were not the best. I need similar sound with the same/better good bass (black filter standard) and same mid thickness (especially vocals) but a bit more detailed, Clear and forward mids. I've asked everywhere and found the options of kc09, tk13, it01, fh1. Do you have any suggestions please for a worthy bass and mids upgrade?

If you need clarity in the mids and also want them not to sound thin I'm sure you'll be mighty surprised with the IT01. They have excellent mids and detailing. I also use the Pinnacle P1 which are more neutral and have excellent detailing across the frequency spectrum. The iBasso IT01 is at par with them in my opinion and is a very worthy IEM indeed. You'll be very happy with it.

Should I be using the burn in app? What is the benefit over just using the iems normally for 200 hours?

When a manufacturer says that you should burn in, then don't ask....why, because they have done very specific test and were able to measure the effect of burn.

Graphene is very good conductor of heat and it expands and contracts....this can change the structure and stiffening suspension of driver system.

Yes, I was asking about the burn in app, how does that benefit me, does it speed up the process?

Safer, lol. @DRuM seems to be asking about the virtues of burning-in using normal music rather then a burn-in app. If it's 'unsafe' to play music through these then they are a staggeringly poor investment at any price.

(For what it's worth I've been listening to boring old music on mine for about 125 hours so far and neither I nor the IT01s have died).

Safer means some people use white noise or pink noise and burn them on full volume...it can blow things up

Yes music works but white noise at 20% volume works wonder...actually quicker as energy distribution is linear all over graph...

You can use the files in this post, OP of the thread has made them true pink and white noise files, not some repeative nonsense. Put them on a same folder and play repeat all for as long as you desire cause they all have 30s rest at the end of each file.

It is white noise at 20% volume

Pink noise is equal loudness per octave(log)
White noise is equal loudness overall(linear)

Do white noise at 20% and the app does the same


Override loudness of smartphone at 20% and run white noise for 11hours on 1st phase
24hours on second phase
72hours in third phase at 40% loudness

Its more than enough

Thanks alot, but does the it01 have enough bassbfir bassheads? Also I want thick meaty vocals, especially on males as I watch alot of anime. Is this thethe b option for me under£120.

Sorry for the bad texting, I meant * bass for bassheads* and *the best option for me under £120*. My phone has been playing up lately

Impedance is below 0.1ohm

That is some crazy impedance rating...

Well it costs 65$

I will check this cable out and then tell you my experience
