As @jamato8 said burn them in for @100 hours(4 days) and use wide bores. I use Spiral Dots on most of my IEM's so that's my suggestion, many folks also like Symbio wide bores as well.Received my IT01 today, but a tad to much bass for my liking (standard ear tips), soundwise very close to a DT990/DT770 imo. Clear sound, resolution comes close to my HE-500. Good value.
Top tier comfort for me.
Any tips recommendation to tame the bass?

Try to burn them in for 100 hrs if you can and they will sound amazing. However, if I recall correctly they sounded very good after 24-30 hours.Received my IT01 today, but a tad to much bass for my liking (standard ear tips), soundwise very close to a DT990/DT770 imo. Edit: LOL didn’t see the post above. Good to see another data point regarding 100 hrs.

The B400 does have better mids and highs and I'd say its higher quality. The bass is much different being its from a BA. I can't really comment on the justify the price portion simply because the sound of the two is different enough in tuning that its not a direct comparison. I'll liken it to asking if buying a particular car would be justified over a particular motorcycle. They both at least are tuned for a more linear response versus the fun V, U or W tunings. But I think only you could decide if it'd make sense to buy B400 if you already own the IT01.the Brainwavz B400 would be a much higher quality jump that justifies the price difference compared to Ibasso IT01? thank you.

Spiral dots reduce bass slightly. Or EQ.

Where can I get Auvio S size replacement tips cheaply? I find them having best fit for my small ears/ear-canals with great sound result (wide bore).
A bit late here I know, but Radio Shack has the assorted pack on clearance right now. I don't know if they ship outside of the US but the price is right. https://www.radioshack.com/products/radioshack-rbasic-silicone-replace-tips-s-m-l

The IT01s respond nicely to a little EQ here and there when needed.Received my IT01 today, but a tad to much bass for my liking (standard ear tips), soundwise very close to a DT990/DT770 imo. Clear sound, resolution comes close to my HE-500. Good value.
