iBasso IT00 and AM05 Two very different IEMs with one purpose, to Enjoy the Music!

Definitely have a little driver flex when putting them on, but honestly its so worth it for the sound. Listening on my ibasso dx160. Never heard anything at this price point this good. I'm A/Bing right now with the Sony IER M9s, and while it's not on the same level (obviously), it's clear to me even early on that IT00s are pretty phenomenal. Here are some early impressions:
  • Bass is super clean with excellent extension, power and depth, but with very little bloat. It's actually very tight and controlled while also packing a real punch and rumble. Not the most insane texture and detail, but still a really fantastic bass response with great clarity.
  • Mids are slightly recessed but still feel full, detailed and expressive. Great tonal balance and clarity. Nice natural timbre. Pretty great resolution, price beating for sure.
  • Highs are well controlled, smooth, but still sparkly and crisp. None of that recessed treble you get on a lot of budget sets (even good ones). Cymbals sound really nice and varied. Nothing is harsh, but its still got some bite and edge. The whole sound signature feels fast, crisp, punchy, and balanced.
  • Soundstage is super impressive with really nice locational accuracy. I'm kind of blown away. Not super wide, but nice and spread out. Really good instrument separation.
Overall, I'm obviously hyping these a little because I'm a bit floored by how good they are at this price. I've heard a bunch of stuff at this range - some of my favs: Shozy 1.1, MD Starfields, Tin T2s, ThieAudio L3s, Blon 03s. Not only do the IT00s come in towards the lower end of this price bracket, but for me they are already kind of destroying the competition.. and I'm only like 2 hours of listening in. For those thinking about these, I was able to get them on Amazon through UrbanHiFi and they arrived in about a week. If you're on the fence, don't be, these are awesome. And again, sorry for hyping, but they deserve it.
Dude, how do these compare versus ybf014? I orderd the l3, got bad set, orderd the fd1 after seeing an overly hyping hifidreams guy reccin them to heaven. Sounded like a kz tin can with no bass to me.. so i am kinda hoping that these it00 are a upgrade to my uf... i absolutly adore thr berry bass but the sq is moderate. Always lookin to upgrade :)

I do love the iss014 but the iBasso it00, IMHO, is starting on a higher level. Of course some may feel otherwise but I am sure most will recognise this it00 is very special and up a level. Things change.

Bass is on level ic to uf?
Sub Bass on iss014 is more noticable, but as a listening experience everything about the it00 is up a notch....just better. I have only once had a an earphone with better sub-bass than the iss014, but that was just the sub-bass....the rest of the listening was not up to par. The YBF iss014 is a great IEM, still very much up there. It's just that the it00 is better. Bass on the it00 is very good. But tips and earfit could make that a different experience for you. So wait till others debate, A/B them, and give their opinions.

Which other iem had better sub-bass than the iss014?

I adore the uf to. Does it00 beat the urbanfun?

No, I don't think so. It's more like they are different and a matter of sound signature preference. I like the UF better, no doubt about that, they are like "home" to me.

If you don't have at least 100 hours on the IT00, you haven't heard their full potential. The drivers need time.

Rose Masya Mk 2 Bud. It has a very large driver and with my large ear canals sounds like a large speaker on my head....lot of rumble and low end. That said the whole listen with the iss014 is more organic and enjoyable than the Rose Masya Mk2. But if I want rumble I know where to go and the Mk 2 is good for the right ears. Having said that I must concur with @audio123 and others that the it00...... is the ultimate keeper.

Similar sub-bass presentation to the UF that I know: KEF Motion One (maybe a tad less tight), Kennerton Ikiz (with more midbass impact but still lots of sub) and probably the Echobox Nomad (I have to check it again to be sure).

If one places a small piece of micropore tape over the vent overlying the DDs on the FD1 (and presumably the EA1), it becomes a bass head level IEM, yet the bass remains fast, textured, and well defined. The overall bass quantity is equivalent to the UF YBFs, just more mid bass skewed relative to the UF.

Hey man, sorry I haven't heard the YBFs! I can say with a pretty strong level of certainty though that the bass on the IT00s is fantastic. Probably not basshead levels, but clean, deep, punchy and balanced. The only thing I find it lacks is a certain level of texture. But at this price it's excellent. All around, and from what I can confirm, to my ears these pretty clearly outperform the L3s, the Starfields, the Shozy 1.1s, the Blon 03s, the Final Audio E4000s, and Tin T2s.

If you want the best sub-bass, Acoustune HS1650 CU.

Ultimate keeper definitely.

@audio123 Is the IT00 similar in how compact and dense the build is, compared to the Tanchjim Hana? I really like the build quality on the Hana but....well I dont like the sound as you might know :joy:

Just noticed that as @SciOC predicted, the ship date has moved up, on Amazon. But for anyone who has already done the pre-order, you might want to check, to see if your delivery date has moved up as well.

Great, now they're available on Amazon for $79 with free shipping but we'll have to wait over a month for delivery...
I went ahead and ordered it from Amazon. If need be, I can always cancel the order. I’m just wondering if it is quite redundant with the NA2.
Yeah, those Amazon dates are usually very conservative estimates so I placed my order too.
