iBasso DX90 vs. Fiio X5 2nd gen Which has better Sound Quality

People who have heard both the DX90 and the X5ii which has the better overall SQ? Comparisons and impressions would be helpful.

Tested both and went for dx90. The bass on the x5 ii sounds more bloomy to me, whereas the dx90 has better controlled bass and decay. Slight different sound signature between the two, where fiio is brighter and vocals are more in your face type.

i like to hear more of the bass, i have the DX100, sound there is outstanding but it lacks the bassy taste, i am afraid the dx90 will wave the same problem that the bass will not be as colorful as i want it.. of what i read, the Fiio bass is felt better. but from the other side, the dx90 has 2 DACs wich could give more.. what you think?

Imo bass is got more to do with ur iem than the player itself, especially when it comes to quantity and quality bass. imo a good player creates better separation, sound stage and clarity, bass can be better but not too much can be attain through a better player. I think synergy is key when it comes to the player ur selecting, I chose DX90 because it suits my taste better.
