Yes, that is the one serious (and I mean SERIOUS) problem I have too.

I really hope a fix for this comes soon.  It gets annoying to have to find the album I want to listen to and reselect it to play the songs back according to track order when I switch my DX80 on.  I listen to a lot of live concerts so having the track order messed up isn't ideal.

Think my battery is useless, I charged to 100% last night, switched on my DX80 this afternoon and it showed 58%, played 3 songs and it was on 43%

There is a known issue on some of the DX80's batteries.  Contact the seller or ask Paul in this thread.  I had the same issue as you had and my DX80 was replaced with a new unit.  My battery has been stellar (so far).

In the box you will find a burn in cable. After 100 hrs sound opens up,to me at least, both in soundstage and low end.

Much Appreciated!!!

I agree with this assessment. My DX80 sounded good out of the box, but everything became more cohesive after burn in.

I am beginning to feel very angry that there has still not been a firmware upgrade to correct this issue, what were they thinking when they made it default to playing tracks in alphabetical order? I am sure that to correct this would be very simple, and that they could have a fixed fw out within a few hours if they cared!
