What plug are you using that is so large? I have one really large 4.4 and it fits, so I am curious.4.4 to 4.4? Any suggestion where to get a good quality one?
I have one from Liquid Links which has a protrution (not round shaped) so it won’t fit. I just got one upgrade cable from Final Audio today and its too big as well. Also I believe my ifi 4.4 male to male doesn’t fit either. What plug are you using that is so large? I have one really large 4.4 and it fits, so I am curious.
You seem to have hit the lottery for non-fitting cables. I know it doesn't help you, but I have 30+ cables and haven't run into that.I have one from Liquid Links which has a protrution (not round shaped) so it won’t fit. The worst part is, you know, those that don’t fit are my favorites on the few favorite head/earphones I have. The Liquid Links cable came with my Elysian Annihilator, and the Final Audio is my favorite for the Sony MDR-Z1R. Of course my other 20 or so 4.4 cables all fit. So ironic isn’t it?You seem to have hit the lottery for non-fitting cables. I know it doesn't help you, but I have 30+ cables and haven't run into that.
You can message pwaudio on Facebook messenger.4.4 to 4.4? Any suggestion where to get a good quality one?
Agreed. It’s also pointless to me to make recessed sockets, serves no practical purpose either, other than being a statement thing. Sigh.To me it is pointless to make the connector that large. More of hey, We made this type of advertising rather than being practical but then was some of audio practical. lol
Ask ibasso. You can see by the thickness of the faceplate, from the CNC work, that it has to be recessed or the socket would not work so it is for practical purposes.Agreed. It's a design choice rather than necessity to have such small openings on the faceplate. Thick faceplates are common on audio equipment. There are better ways to work around the mounting issues. Specifically, I am looking at my TA-ZH1ES faceplate, which makes a whole lot more sense to me.Ask ibasso.
