Yeah, superb. I'll let you know how the artic cable sounds with them (hopefully by end if week) and drop you a pm with a revised DB.
Think I've settled on 100 DAC, low gain with these. I'll give med with dac dropped a touch again at some point though just to confirm.
Done any listening with z1r yet?
P.S, make sure you drive them hard for break in, mine really came alive at 150hrs+ and a serious 48hr hammering with burn in track at high vol.

Yeah, same as what I was on initially. Swapped to 100/low last weekend, still not 100% settled but pretty effing good.

Thought I would ask because it was talked about a while back, but has anyone replaced the case on their 300 MAX , and are there any available other than what it came with from iBasso. Seems I can not find anything at the moment and assume since low production that there probably wont be any unless custom, or different version from iBasso.
Has anyone replaced their case or is everyone still using the iBasso included case ?

I was hoping that like the top end AK or Hiby that there might have been a custom case available by now. Or at least an alternative from iBasso or a distributor. I know that there are companies like Vishnu that make custom leather cases and may have to go that route.

The leather case for dx300Max is actually of genuine leather from Italy already. But if you would like custom case, I think you need to wait. Someone already mentioned that some 2MAX leather case could stretch, and it could fit the 3Max

And hybrid glass screen protector. Living as safely as it gets with this one. But, then, I guess I'm taking it out and about from time to time, so I can't afford to take too many chances. Atm I'm looking to find a waterproof shoulder strap add-on that fits its size, for taking it out on walks/treks.

Custom made screen protectors (https://www.protectionfilms24.com/custom-sizes.html?category2=32&category0=2&category1=11) have been available for a while now by the same company. I've had some made by them for my DX300 Max (dimensions: 140.0mm x 76.5mm, radius: 0.6mm).

Yeah, they've been making these screen protectors for years. I had some ordered for my PD2 last year too from them. They're pretty decent and not that dear either.
