I kind of lost track... the Max looks very promising what a beauty :)
Now that pre-orders are starting, do we know if it's still 9028 Pro or 9038 Pro ?

If it was a 9038, it'd have only around 4 hours of battery life.

Like the YinLuMei m400 dac/amp that has similar output capabilities with a full ak4499.

If this wasn't 9028, it probably won't be called DX"220" MAX. Maybe 300MAX for some other time :)

Ok thanks for clarifying, anyway 9028 Pro is superb already and it's the amp section that has my interest to being with :)

Im sold on the form factor, and if it was not for R8 announcement, and me coming across so many positive first impression of R8, I would have just added another expanse to my Credit card, but reading Whitigir impression of DX220, I think DX220 Max is a no brainer.

It'll take some getting used to not having the side buttons to skip or pause music.

Something like FiiO link (control over BT or WIFI) would be great for this. Actually it would be great if there was a standard protocol to control any other application over BT or WIFI. Any application implementing this protocol would be remotely controllable.

That what I was wondering about...no physical button then what do we press to wake up screen ? Double tap ?
No physical buttons!!!! Omg

As per the manual " Power on/off the screen: Single press the power button to power on/off the screen after the DX220Max was powered on"

The lack of buttons besides the power button will definitely take some getting used to.
