I have a little problem with my DX180 and Apple Music. Sometimes, when a song changes to the next one in the list, the new one is muted until I change forward or back to another song and back again. Then it plays. I’m not sure if that only happens when the Bitrate changes. I still need to verify that but maybe someone has a workaround? (Edit, just checked and when I switch to the next song via hw-button and Bitrate changed 44,1 to 96 and the song played without problem)

I use it connected through coax to my D16 + PB5. I never had this issue with my iPhone connected via USB to the D16.

Anything I can do about it @Paul - iBasso ?
My DX260 also same issue I got mentioned before.
My Sony WM1ZM2 on the other hand using Apple music got no such issue.
Pls do something about it for DX180, DX260 and DX300Max Ti. Thanks

For any issues please go into settings, System and then Feedback. You can create a log there that is sent to us and it is given to our software team. This would help a lot. There are full instructions for using the Feedback.

Will do, appreciated for your support!
That's one reason I have faith in Ibasso as a company who listens to user feedback. 👍

If anyone's like me and hates that the stock launcher displays all of the app icons on the home screen, here's how you can remove them.
  • Go to Settings > Apps > Default Apps
  • Tap on the cogwheel/settings icon next to Home app
  • Toggle Off "The main screen" option
  • If you don't use the Mango Player and want to remove the home screen widget, you can also toggle off the "Enable feed integration" option to remove it
Now you can remove the app icons from the home screen by tapping-n-holding an icon and then drag it upwards to the Remove option.

I ended up installing Nova launcher since this was bugging me so much, so that will be helpful in the future if I go back to stock!

My Dx180 arrived yesterday. Super quick gui response, great sound, reasonably quick scanning of my 3000 albums archive. I'm really good impressed, except for two things related to Mango player:
1) it doesn't really do gapless on lossy file, there is always a small gap and a glitch. On the same tracks, neutron or aimp or foobar go gapless without problems. I installed Neutron so not a real problem but is a pity because I really liked Mango for the other things.
2) if an album has more "discs" (via tag), Mango does not separate them and mix the tracks without the correct order.
And there is a strange thing, it seems impossible to change utc zone after the initial setup, but this is a minor thing and I have to verify after a reboot.
Hope in some Mango update :)

Do you have gapless set to on in the menu? Mine does gapless with no issues.

Yes, first thing I set up. Are you able to have gapless with mp3 files?

1) 🤦

2) not possible because of the type of screen.
Hello,
I received the DX180 yesterday.
I'm still testing for audio performance, but I wanted to make two suggestions for the software:
1) make the "system information" page more attractive.
2) I'd like to be able to wake up the screen with a double tap; I didn't find this setting in the menu.
PS: sorry for my english...
Thanks
I agree that the system info page could be a bit more informative (maybe this is what Usti73 was getting at). Currently it feels a bit bare, not even the SD665 or the RAM amount is listed (might be nice to add a stock photo of the device with it)

Have you looked at the manual?

I'm aware there are things called manuals (if you're going to be snarky). But it would be a small but still convenient change, especially if you're listing the player for sale down the line and would like to have a quick way to view it.
Snarky? Seriously? I was trying to be helpful!

FWIW, the DX180 does have a decent manual, unlike some other DAPs where you have to figure it out by trial and error.

Just wanted to say that, at least in my unit, the battery took a couple of weeks of use before it fully 'settled'. Was getting pretty poor battery life before, but now it's amazing. I didn't use it an entire day and it only discharged 2% on standby!
