Got 170 couple days ago, use this with already burned 300hrs Imr Zenith II, so i can say with 3.5 output it's needed more power, or 170 needs long time burn in, cause sounds its wery lack, with less LF and many sibilance with all tracks. So i ordered balance cable for earphones and leave dap for burn in

Just curious when you are using those setup, there are DAC and AMP module in Raspberry Pi 4?SQ is king for me too. My experience of the following sources into my desktop system are as follows:
Samsung S21 Ultra via USB = Poor
iBasso DX170 via line out 3.5 = OK
FiiO M15 via line out 3.5 = Slightly better
Raspberry Pi 4 with Volumio via USB = Exceptional
The difference moving from my old FiiO to the Raspberry 4 made such a huge jump in sound quality it felt that I had doubled the overall price of my desktop system.

Yes of course, my Raspberry Pi 4 is stock with no additional DAC or Amp modules. USB output into my SMSL SU-9N DAC which then has balanced output to my Burson Soloist 3x performance.
Software is Volumio which can stream Spotify, Qobuz and Tidal. I control Volumio via the Android App on my mobile phone or from any computer, tablet etc which is connected to the same WiFi network.

32 Ohms, 105db sensitivity... 3.5mm, low gain, 55 volume is more than enough for my 48 Ohm Shure SRH1540s. Can't say my experience aligns with yours. At all.
I had Fiio m11plus ltd with Fiio FD5 year ago and I remember that was very not impressive with 3.5 out, although fd5 has only 32ohm resistance, but it was sounds "weak". But when I connect this to 4.4 out on high gain, it's was quite different. Sound get more deeper, controlled, richer, faster and LF has more punch and "weight". 3.5 out sounds like only 30 - 40% potential of dap. So I think new Iem dynamics like adlc, cnt, berillym and etc is more power hungry, and it's not secret that last year dap engineers focuses sound quality their products on balanced 4.4 out, leaves 3.5 just like necessary option for line out and spdif. We can look on iBasso amp8mk2 when 3.5 out has only ~200mW, and 4.4 all ~800, so that four times (!) more32 Ohms, 105db sensitivity... 3.5mm, low gain, 55 volume is more than enough for my 48 Ohm Shure SRH1540s. Interesting. What are your thoughts on why the sound quality was lower when in line out mode? I was hoping that, when paired with my Hugo 2 via line out, it wouldn't make a difference whether I use the DX170 or some flagship DAP. Interested on why there might be a difference there.
Sorry I should have said I used analogue line out not digital.

A couple things... I'm not able to activate swipe typing, though it looks like it should be available? Also, I can't find the battery health setting, I want to set the maximum charge to 85%. Thanks, everyone! I like this little guy, but it's also making me wonder about the DX240...

There is a setting under Battery, Battery Saver, to set charging to stop at 80% but it returns to the 'off,' position when I exit and return to it.A couple things... @Paul - iBasso - could you look into this and pass it on as something to resolve in the next FM update please?
The stock keyboard doesn't allow for swipe typing. You'll need to download Gboard or some equivalent from the play store.A couple things... I was using the 170 to burn in some headphones. I let time get away from me and the battery ran down I plugged it in to start it charging and left it for about an hour. I came back to try to turn it back on but it's completely unresponsive now. I've had devices that do this in the past (Nexus 7 mk2), so I'm checking to see if this is something others have experienced, as well?

Try holding the power button for 20 seconds, release and then 3 seconds and release.I was using the 170 to burn in some headphones.
