Any hints about built-in Android security patches up to and including 11/2021? Many people safely use their device with other apps that have access to the home network and the Internet. Or is it a project for next Firmware?

Already updated to the latest firmware with Lurker add on but no idea about the security patches has i forgot to check it. Only Sony makes monthly security updates.

Add-on v.1.29 is compatible with firmware 1.07.250.

Mango OS has been updated from DX220 firmware 1.19.324. So far I performed only a quick test, hoping that it will work not worse than the previous build.

Can you please confirm the instalation procedure? I'm on previous add-on version.

I should flash FW 1.07.250 over old lurker add-on and afterwards install DX160-A8.1-L1.29b1-sdupdate.zip?

Right: first flash the official update, then apply the new add-on. It's up to you which installation version of the add-on to use: using AndroidTool or bootable SD-card.

Anyone having issues with Tidal app? Mine can load but can't play most of the time.

So I read in a Reddit forum to just roll back to an earlier version of tidal, version from Jan 2021. I downloaded that version and now all stream qualities work. I think I’ll stick to this version until tidal fixes later versions.

The old version works because it's sadly not bitperfect...I hope tidal gonna fix this problem with DAP because it works well with usb dac.

Ah.. I am a bit ignorant on this biperfect update, only recently got a android ibasso, does it only affect usb out or also spidif out?

@Lurker0 Tried to install the add-on using multiple sd cards and following the instructions but no success although I have access to play store but no mango mode, thoughts?

On my device(1.06.177) - an error "verifying filed please check your package"
Resetting to factory defaults settings did not bring results.

Yes it works. I downloaded from the Ibasso site, unzipped and loaded it onto an sd card and it worked fine.

Make sure you extract the files you have downloaded, and drop the correct zip file onto the device. The read me text file gives the correct name.

Yes. It was my mistake.
It was rar, not zip. After extraction it was updated without problems.

So, here is a brief interim conclusion since the update.
Before the update with the new firmware DX160-ota-full-1.07.250, I had reset my iBasso to factory settings, carried out the update, made all settings again and installed my few favorite apps. So far, my problem with the sporadic blank screen after a start, if the device was shut down completely, no longer occurred. My favorite audio player, AIMP for Android, works without any problems. The connection to the Bluetooth speaker also works without any problems.

No idea! 1200+ SD-card version downloads of the previous version, 23 downloads on this version, and only one such complain. If you have an access to a Windows PC, I'd suggest to try AndroidTools method.
