Is there any way to reset player. Mine was booting up and the screen went blank. Now it will not come back on. I hold down power button but nothing happens.

Mine died also two days ago. I sent it back

It's just a modified phone, I was upgrading to new firmware and it stopped. There should be a way to reset it. Doesn't even show charge when I plug it in to charger now.

No such thing as a hardware reset from a pinhole or similar, only from the android settings screen, which is obviously not an option if the screen doesn't work. iBasso support was not able to help either, that's why I decided to send it back. I believe the issue is the battery, not the electronics.

Is it normal that it is kind of hard to get a TOSlink mini into the top SPDIF port? I have a couple of toslink mini cables I've used on my macbook pro (that has a dual headphone/optical port) and it works great. I tried it on my DX150 and it works fine there too... once I can actually get it to go in. It gets stuck about 2/3 of the way in, until I keep trying and get lucky and hit some perfect angle.

The included 3.5mm to digital coax cable fits just fine.

There is a spring loaded contact that you are hitting. Some plugs have a more gentle angle and go past this point easier as the contact is pushed on and some have a steeper angle and it takes more pressure to get past this point.

Solution for others who may be having this problem with using a mini TOSLINK cable in their DX150 SPDIF port:

I ordered cables from another brand, and they also took several tries to get them inserted. Finally I realized that a trick that works well for me is to rotate the cable while applying normal light pressure until it just goes in.

Then I went back and tried the old brand, and found this works there too.

MIne comes on with a faint light grey screen but cannot access USB ports to flash. Paul tried to help but nothing is working. Looks as if I need to send mine back also.

Just got the DX150; have just started burning it in.
(very) initial impressions (DX150+AMP6 vs DX200+AMP3 with balanced CB12 cable and IT03 IEM's):
Really enjoyable low end boost that doesn't bleed at all into the mids.
Musical and dynamic, with a spacious and clear sound.
There seems something slightly more TOTL and reference sounding in the DX200+AMP3 combo, but the DX150 is pretty close to that, and with qualities that promise a LOT of enjoyment to come

This is my only concern that it not come with Google play store app.
I need to use Poweramp and Neutron and for this Google play store

it should have come with it beging android.
But this i can do i can install Both poweramp and Neutron as APK manualy
download APK to Pc and transfer APK to dx150 and install manualy

But here is my concern I have already purchased Neutron and Poweramp
and many paid themes for Poweramp (They look lovely)
so when i download poweramp and neutron on new Audio devices
i dont have to purchase again it can be used on all audio devices
by logging into to my google acount where i purchased it from
and use same google play user.

But this is if i use Google play store
But installing Poweramp manually APK
will Poweramp verify with Google that i have already purchased it before
and redownload it on dx150 for free?

And what about Poweramp themes i purchased can i download them again for free.
And how do i install Poweramp paid themes without Google play store?

With Google play store there was no problem redownload poweramp and themes
for free when i already purchase them
but how do i do this manually by APK.
I hope i dont have to purchase neutron, poweramp and all poweramp themes again (which is a lot)

If I understand correctly, your DX150 was not totally dead like mine was, in the sense that some flickering response from the screen was still there, right?
