actually, this is not firmware-hardware-weather related. mango player is laggy for sure. I use UAPP and Neutron (in usbaudio mode with lurker's firmware), even removed mango from android - and all is really snappy. but I like mango mode (as in dx200) - it sounds special.

I would reload the latest iBasso FW and do a factory reset. I get no lag at all, none.

Your words look like magic) At its current state it lags disregarding number of factory resets or version of FW you use. Lurker's firmware does not affect lagging somehow, it just optimizes power consumption and add a couple of useful tricks. The problem with lags or responsiveness is partially connected to rather bad screen sensor, it's far from the best or even good, and it's a physical issue, unfortunately.

My DX150 with or without lurkers FW dissent really feel laggy, it's not as snappy as a modern smartphone but fine for DAP.

The touchscreen is not the best though. I do have to be tester deliberate with your touched, but that not the same thing as lag. It can be annoying though.

Lurker0 is there any possibility of getting Viper4Android working on the DX150?
I don't know and I don't care. You have SuperSU, and you can try...

You should have ordered it together with CA02 (2.5mm to 4.4mm) adapter from iBasso. It's a small yet worthy $15 investment

hi Alex, I was thinking the same thought, I read in local review the CA02 does not gives much changes from normal 2.5 balance hence I prefer to do re-termination to 4.4.

Only way I know to install Viper4A is via TWRP. I'll probably just stick to using my iSine 10 with V4A on my LG Quad DAC devices.

WaitW ait confused, 2.5mm balanced and 4.4 balanced are both balanced connections there should be no difference except for the 4.4mm being bigger and more robust. Audio wise there should be no difference. Unless t your saying he adapter somehow makes it sound inferior.

There is surely sound change. Using adapter means you get the effect from different cable and solder in your system.

Retermination is the best option if can do.

Hi
I installed the DX150 mod and worked fine, but I am passing the player on and person wants stock FW.

I just thought I could go to the system update and flash the stock FW on my SD card (local) but it just keeps saying verifying failed.

Then I thought it might be a case of flashing it with the toolkit but the stock file is a zip file, not img.

Whats the best way to put stock back on?

thanks
