I would actually find it hard if even 1000 headfiers were to even buy this device. Maybe a few hundred at most and I think that is still being very generous .

I think you completely underestimate the market. There is no way Monster would have started selling the MTPG/MTPC if they didnt see a huge market for people who wanted 'significantly better' sound than that offered by their other models - I'm not pretending this represents the zenith of the IEM market, but it shows that a huge company has identified a market. iBasso knows that cake is waiting.

I didn't say it wouldn't sell many. But the fact that there's are a lot less headfi members than there are people out in the world .
