I have used the EQ a couple of times, not hard to use. I don't use it and have never used EQ since the late 80's on some home equipment.

This is the second time i am posting that i can not get wifi on my dx100. I need it to download the unlocker for poweramp. I can be standing on top of a wireless router and it will not pick up a signal.Is there another way to get the unlocker on my dx100.BTW when you are talking about the EQ being on or off are you talking about a EQ built in to the DX100 operating system that i am not aware of or the poweramp EQ.

They are talking about the EQ on the DX100 software. On the wifi, I don't know. It doesn't have a long range but if I am next to the wifi it works but poweramp doesn't do high resolution so I don't use it any longer.

did you try the single channel configuration on the router? you can download the app and save it on the SDCARD on the DX100 using the USB then use the ES explorer

Ibknow i can just install something like the poweramp so that it would work perfectly well. I still want to know if one of the update fixed the issue of it not reading tags for flac and alac

It reads pretty much everything now. No problems.

It can read flac tags now, but it seems that you might need to re-tag some of your files according to some rules. Check out the wiki if you find any problems on the tags....

I like 1.2.7 the best.

I might roll back to 1.2.7 for the London meet at the end of this month - I have a habit of always upgrading to the latest whatever with firmware but they're having a high end DAP shoot-out (probably pointless given a meet's volume levels) and I'd like my DX100 to put it's best foot forward... maybe we'll have 1.3.8 before then lol.

Agreed. I tried  1.3.7 1.3.5 and 1.3.8 1.3.7 but those did not sound as good as 1.2.7. The difference is difficult to describe. 1.3.7 sounded OK, but 1.2.7 put the smile back on my face. 
I wish iBasso would put out some release notes so I could see exactly what it was they tweaked.
