Thanks for the answers guys. My previous DAP was RoCoo BA and I formatted my 64Gb on my Macbook Pro and it worked flawlessly. Now I'm using it on my Samsung Galaxy SIII.

This is really great news. I can't wait to hear this baby. I guess the next step for me is to get a pair of Heir 8.A :)

I have 4 32gb cards and 2 64gb cards and the DX100 is filled with hirez music that I often listen to. I love the ability to pop different cards in with the type of music I want at the moment. Since I went back to 1.7 I am listening too much as I need to do other things. Well I do review medical information and listen so it's all good. :^)

Seems you are really enjoying 1.1.7 now jamato? What brought you back to the dark side? ;).

Sorry to ask such a question after 500 or so pages on the DX100, but I could not find anything about my problem there:

music playback is sometimes interrupted for 1/10 sec or so. This happens in Poweramp and in the proprietary music app alike. After a while the interrupts happen less often, then disappear for an amount of time, just to reappear a few minutes later.

I´ve tried to kill all other background processes, this doesn´t have any effect on the frequency of the interrupts.

Installing, running and deinstalling other apps does not help, either.

Any idea is hearthily welcome, as this behaviour is about to drive me crazy, spoiling the experience of this wonderful DAP altogether.

Thanks in advance,

Rudi

The two different firmwares offer a different sound, as has been noted here in the thread. The 1.7 with the nicely layered soundstage and even frequency response and solid bass foundation fits my listening needs. Now where is that hood?

No, I did not do so, but this cannot be a solution as the roblem is not within poweramp alone. Must be some sort of conflict between whatever and whatelse...

Why not give it a try and see if it helps. Putting it to high priority will give Power Amp CPU priority over all other processes. Try it. It may work. I honestly recommend doing a factory reset. Then let the player fully load up. Then select play all albums/play all music via the stock player. Then revert back to 1.1.7 (this will allow all your imbedded album art to show up on 1.1.7). Then stick with the stock player as the sound is the best on 1.1.7. No need for Power Amp IMO.

Damn Oddjobs I thought I was overly compulsive with the amount of songs on my unit? Is that mostly high res music? Otherwise that is a crap load of music.

Not directly relevant to the DX100, but hugely relevant to my DX100.....  My JH3a / JH16 Pro combo is waiting for me when I get home from work having been delivered today

Still waiting on the Whiplash custom IC and IEM cable, so not sure that I am going to be able to get the best out of it yet, and away on business next week, but dang I can't wait to hook up that setup!!

@rudiraith - is your WiFi turned on?  If so try turning that off.
