Ibasso D12 Not Recognised By Windows 8

As titled.
 
I can't find any thread on troubleshooting this issue.
Whenever I plugged in the D12: it says: Your last USB device malfunctioned.
The sound output is diverted to the laptop's speaker instead of going through D12.
 
Please help.
