My wife has another newer iPad ( 2022, I guess.)
Tried with that, everything is fine. I'll test a bit later, I'm just curious about the Android vs iPadOS, both with iBasso D16

Imo, it's the same, can't tell a difference between the two
With the iPad, I can't control the volume from the iPad.
Only from iBasso

That's consistant with how it behaves in MacOS

Thats the difference between Mac bitperfect, and Android "not bitperfect" and upsampling.

Bitperfect is "theoretically" better.

I can give my whole audio gear who will do 20/20 of blindtest right tho.

I don't know but I can't hear any difference between Android and iPadOS, I tried with many flac files

Silver ICs upgrade is no joke. The improvements is very immediate. Sound stage is wider and even more 3-D. Resolution and details are more anpperant and the placement of instrument within the staging is more precise. Note that I have already performed the Blackgates mod myself and this inertial ICs upgrade allow/ me to hear more musical details with greater resolution with impressive staging. I got the Silver ICs from @Whitigir as I am not skilled enough to pull that off. Will upgrade the PSU capacitors next later next week and report back.
