Anyone have new news on the D17?
As much as I'm interested by this new baby, I'm afraid we wont have much info before February at best since it is celebration time in January in China.

I have been waiting for those news as well, but it will be a while more I guess. I wonder what innovations Ibasso could be putting into the D17.

Yeah me too. I’m so impressed with the 340 that D17 will be an automatic buy.

I am excited for it for sure...not yet to be jumping in that way LOL!!! But yeah, the 340 is a mightily impressive player.

Eventhough the D17 is a multibit R2R, it dynamic range is 126DB, and that is a pretty crazy number to hit.

Well R2R DAC and tube amp in a transportable device, isn't that enough innovation for you my friend? At least for me, if its sound qualities are equal or better than the D16/PB5 stack then it will clearly be the ULTIMATE transportable device of 2025.

Has anyone paired a sensitive iem like CFA Clara with the D16?
I'm interested in this IEM but some people are reporting issues with background hissing on the new DX340.
Is there also an issue with sensitive iems and the D16?
Last time I saw someone who had almost all the gears...it was @twister6 . I dont think he ever mentioned about hisses. Hopefully he can answer you soon.

In the mean while, you can search up his blog and read about it

Yessir! With D16 even in high DAC and AMP gain, it is dead quiet with sensitive IEMs, with no waterfall hissing.

Dead quiet with Trifecta as well. Thought I’d add as another data point. :)

There seems to be a lot of discussion about Coax versus USB.

If have solved the "USB" this way, and I am more than happy with the sound

As I understand this Neutron Isolator1 is useful and effective only when using a PC as a source? There's probably no point in using it, if you're choosing a smartphone as a source.
