Woot, my avatar made it into the top 10 in Engadget's photo contest. Even though it's not going to actually win me anything, thanks to head-fi for giving me the motivation to take photos of headphone gear, and buy the gear to take photos of.

Sigma 50mm f2.8 macro - it's my first dedicated macro lens, and that was actually one of my first shots with it. I've been very happy with it thus far. I like the build, feel, and size for dragging around. Also makes a decent portrait lens. The only downside is the slow, older style AF, but for the price I'm not arguing.
