As the title suggests, I am looking for bass.
 
I recently started a job that will permit me to work with headphones, and I am looking for something with good isolation, and I want BASS and I'm not afraid to admit it.
 
Currently I have Sennheiser HD-508 headphones - so I know what smooth sounds like. I want more bass, and more excitement. I want to hear lows as if they came from a subwoofer. Don't get me wrong, I like my 508's, but they are open and very well behaved, and I want closed and FUN!
 
I listen to mainly rock music, and then equal parts rap and techno. I will be listening to these headphones through a smartphone via 320kbps mp3, so they must be driven easily.
 
Also, I don't want to pay much more than $100, and I am willing to buy used.

I have heard that they sound even better with Beyer velour pads for $30 more but also heard it tames the bass a bit too.

xb700's are a bit over $100, but if you want bass, I guess they're the cans for circum-aurals
