I actually like the gold highlights of the k240s over the k271s. Might be just me though.

I generally don't like the sound of the HD series but thier sound is wonderful as most people know. I badly want a pair of ATH-w2002's but won't try to buy a pair until after I graduate. Ahhh! I want them so bad.
