So.. looks aren't really an important consideration for me at all.. especially because I only use these headphones at home but i must say, I think the Hd590 are BEAUTIFUL looking headphones. I think beyers are pretty ugly/rugged and Hd650/ATHaxxx series. look pretty plain. the hd555 look nice.. anyway, which headphones do you guys really like the look of?

here's the pic of mine

My favorite looks are the Beyer, Senn 580/650, and wood ATH. Special mention goes to the classiness of the RS1 and metal Grados.

The HD600 is removed from my list, due to the horrible, horrible fou marble.

I think the HP Grado series is bad a**. (I hope I have the right one-all aluminum).
Theyd look even better on my head.

Senn HE90 (and to a lesser extent, HE60)

I agree with GuOD, I think the HD590's are really sexy looking. Here are some pictures of mine. However, for sheer beauty, I don't think anyone can touch Audio Technica's woody series

Now if you'll please excuse me, I need to go clean myself up.

Even better build quality than SA5000 has? It must be totally perfect then.

Would you say the SA5000 has better build quality than the HD650? I think the HD650 has solid build quality. The pads feel very nice and miles more expensive than the HD555 that I used to have.

Definitely yes. The fact that SA5000 is made of magnesium (there's hardly no plastic at all), has very soft leather ear pads and is ultra light and still very sturdy makes it the best built headphone I've ever used. Only flaw in SA5000's build quality is the wire which has got broken with many users (the famous y-split problem). I haven't had any problems with the wire though.

650 has very good build quality also but it still feels little bit plasticy after SA5000.

I guess looks vary depending on the person. I actually find the Beyer DT880s very nice, but not quite as much as the AKG K701. I never really cared for the styling of the HD590.
