Got a replacement for my Pro 900 today.

It sounds great from the sony NWZ-A829, from the iPod, from the computer, from everywhere. It was definetely faulty. I now only need to burnt it in and get an amp.

Hopefully my recently ordered Ultrasone 900s will sound good and go smoothly. I have yet to see how they compare to another bass heavy headphone I own. Yeah, from what it seems though, you were a rare case that happened to be one of the few that went through with an issue on the cans.

It definetely was the headphones. I got them replaced and the new ones sound great.
