I would wait a while, and like others have said, it may be because it takes awhile to deposit into his account.
My friend was in a somewhat similar situation, albeit with a lower amount of money. He bought some RAM off of craigslist and paid using USPS Money order (yeah I know, the worse possible combination). Anyways, after paying, the guy never emailed back or anything, my friend did have his address and all that. He waited a month and contacted the local PD in our town who informed him he has to file a complaint with the local PD where the person was located. My friend was in FL and the seller was located, somewhere in Orange country, CA. I think you can look up about filing a complaint online depending on the county. Long story short, not sure if the PD there gave the guy a visit or called him, but the seller contacted my friend not long after and said he was 'out of town' and just got back; sent over the RAM as well. I think that the police don't have too much authority depending on the circumstance and it's more of a scare tactic, but it usually motivates most people.
Anyways, something to think about, but I would give the guy some more time.
